Welcome! We'll talk about all the future success that is heading your way and share the overview of your journey through the pre-course leading up to the start of the retreat.

Personal Branding

In this section we're going to dive deep into the mindset it takes to be a successful brand. We'll teach you how to brand yourself, dos and don'ts, work through your dreams, values and purpose. Then we'll show you the best techniques to make your brand unique and recognizable. You'll have a fun branding activity to complete too.

Finding your Target Audience

We will walk you through what kind of person your brand represents so you can attach a unique style, niche, and personality to your brand. Then we'll discover exactly who your ideal follower, audience, and customer is and turn them into a figurative person that will guide your business decisions in all your future content.

Growth & Engagement

Before we can start to collaborate with brands we need to have an engaged community. In this section we'll walk you through the fundamental methods to gain new followers and the best techniques to keep them engaged so that you can have a successful paid collaboration in the future.

Collab Activity

Finally! Your first taste of what we'll be covering during this retreat! In this section we'll show you exactly how to find the perfect brands to work with so you are ready to start pitching when you arrive in Kenya!

Summary

We'll briefly summarize our pre-course work and make sure you are exactly where you need to be before we start the social media bootcamp so that you can have the best chance at success in your future collaboration opportunities on the retreat.

Pre-coursework review

Before we can get started on this social media bootcamp we first need to make sure everyone is ready! Will cover the pre-course work and answer any questions you have so you are confident and ready to dive straight into the new world of collaborations.

Collab Theory

We'll shed light on your true value as a creator and everything you have to offer by understanding the difference between content creation, marketing, and sales. Then we'll talk about the best ways to collaborate with other creators to build your own flourishing community.

Step-by-step guide to collaborate

In this lesson, we are going to walk you through exactly how we successfully land paid collaborations with some of the world's biggest brands and how by the end of the social media bootcamp you can be doing the exact same.

Product Photography

One of the keys to brand deals and content creation is product photography. We'll practice some of the best techniques for product photography so that you can deliver amazing content to brands that will have them coming back for more.

Editing you Photos

In order to market branded products to your community and have a hugely successful collaboration we'll learn how to edit product photos to make them beautiful, attractive, and cohesive with your feed, and then use those product photos to build your own portfolio.

Creating a Portfolio

Before we can begin pitching to brands, we need to build our own creator portfolios. In this section we'll cover the 3 things that every creator needs in their portfolio to be professional and successful, and then we'll discuss exactly what brands are looking for in your portfolio so we can cater to those requirements and build them to a highly professional standard.

Collabs

What would a collab course be without hotel collabs?! In the Hotel Collabs section we'll talk about the bulletproof method we use to land hotel collabs with a 100% success rate so that you can travel anywhere in the world, stay wherever you want for free, make a living doing what you love all while adding value to the tourism industry!

Finding Brands that want to work with you

In this lesson we'll show you the myriad of ways you can find brands to work with that will be mutually beneficial to you, your audience, and the brand. We'll also cover exactly what brands are looking for when they come to your profile to see if you are the right person for a paid collaboration.

Pitching and following up

We are going to show you the art of pitching, the very techniques and templates we use to reach out to some of the world's biggest brands, and how sometimes pitches alone aren't enough. We'll show you how to professionally follow up with brand deals and how to create your own contract that cover you during a paid collaboration so that you don't have to find out the hard way when things go wrong. We'll go through dos and don'ts

Negotiations

We'll teach you exactly how you can negotiate your paid collaborations and how we managed to travel the world as a nano-influencer by negotiating bigger brand deals that made us more money.

Deliverables

Deliverables are the key to the collaboration itself. We'll walk through exactly how to complete your requirements in a fast and professional way, the best techniques for posting both product photos and videos, how to send your deliverables to a brand, and all the small 1% actions that will make you stand out from the crowd of other collaborations and social media creators.

Post-collabs

This is where the professionals separate themselves from the amateurs. We'll show you the exact steps we take post collaboration to stand out from the crowd of digital creators, be professional, and keep brands coming back for more.
